Dual Enrollment at Winthrop University
As gaining admission to college becomes increasingly competitive, the Dual Enrollment
Program at Winthrop University enables high school students to develop college readiness,
allowing them to earn college credit, explore potential career interests, take courses
not offered at their high schools, showcase their potential and learn from our outstanding
faculty.
"Winthrop's Dual Enrollment program has shown me the rigor of college courses while
allowing for the flexibility and optionality of taking courses beyond what is offered
at my high school.
"The classes and instruction have helped me to develop my physical dance skills at
a higher level of education. The confidence I have gained in dance has spread to other
areas of my life. The dance instruction that I have experienced here is more than
I had anticipated."
"Dual-enrolling has been a great experience for me. I've been able to take courses
I otherwise wouldn't have had access to. All the professors I have reached out to
and interacted with have been wonderful and very helpful, and the student body is
very kind and welcoming."
