The Inauguration of President Edward A. Serna

Join us April 14, 2023 at 11 a.m. as we celebrate the inauguration of the 12^th President of Winthrop University, Edward A. Serna—the first Winthrop alumnus to serve in the role. 

Following the investiture ceremony, all are welcome at the community picnic in the West Center. We invite you to attend some of the additional events taking place on and around campus throughout the afternoon and into the evening, such as SOURCE—Winthrop's annual showcase celebrating students' creative and scholarly work—or the Come-See-Me Festival—Rock Hill's annual celebration of spring. There's something here for everyone as we mark the beginning of the next chapter in Winthrop history.
