Class of 1970 50-Year Reunion
The time has finally arrived to celebrate our 50-year Winthrop reunion! Although our
reunion year was 2020, the Class of 1970 50th reunion committee wanted to select a
date to celebrate on campus when we felt safe to do so. We will celebrate on campus
April 8-9, 2022 and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

A few key dates to remember:
- Tuesday, March 1 - Mini-Tatler Form Deadline
- Producing a Mini-Tatler has been a long tradition for the 50-year reunion. Mini-Tatler
forms and photos were accepted until Tuesday, March 1. If you mailed your form and
photo after the deadline please know it may not make it in the Mini-Tatler.
- If you cannot attend the reunion, you can reserve your Mini-Tatler for $15 by contacting
Brittany Neely ’14, alumni engagement coordinator, at neelyb@winthrop.edu.
- Monday, March 7 - Hotel Reservation Deadline
- Our reunion hotel is the Cambria Hotel Rock Hill - University Center. The discounted rate for our class is $119/night. Book your room by Monday, March
7. All rooms include complimentary wireless internet, king beds, a chaise lounge,
a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary in room coffee, a mini fridge, work desk
and flat screen televisions with cable TV. Parking is $5 per car, per day.
- Friday, March 25 - Reunion Registration Deadline
- Registration has now closed. We can’t wait to see you in April!
