Costs and Fees

The first step is to understand our cost of attendance—which includes expenses such as tuition, housing, dining plans, and applicable fees. Get started by reviewing the current cost and fee structure (per semester) for undergraduate, graduate, online, and professional studies students.

In-State Tuition

Students who have lived in South Carolina for 12 consecutive months and submitted proof of residency are eligible for in-state tuition rates. Veterans and graduate students who are residents of certain North Carolina counties may also qualify for these rates.

Financial Aid

Many financial aid opportunities are available that may help you fund your Winthrop education. Types of aid include scholarships, student employment, loans, and grants. 

All students must fill out the entire Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by October 1 of each year to be considered for federal and/or state aid.
