WHEREAS, Yancey Trevor Beauford, by virtue of his position as President of the Student
Government Association, has served a full year as the student representative to the
Winthrop University Board of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, Yancey Trevor Beauford has employed his distinctive academic standing, his
community spirit, and his experience as a student leader to ensure that Winthrop University
continues its tradition of outstanding service to students;
THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of Winthrop University recognizes
Yancey Trevor Beauford for his commitment to, support of, and leadership in educational
advancement at Winthrop University.
