WHEREAS, Mamie Catherine Bush, by virtue of her position as President of the Student
Government Association, has served a full year as the student representative to the
Winthrop University Board of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, Mamie Catherine Bush has employed her distinctive academic standing, her
community spirit, and her experience as a student leader to ensure that Winthrop University
continues its tradition of outstanding service to students;
THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of Winthrop University recognizes
Mamie Catherine Bush for her commitment to, support of, and leadership in educational
advancement at Winthrop University.
