Teacher Cadet Program

Started in the 1980’s by our own Jim Rex, the Teacher Cadet Program provides an opportunity for high achieving, leadership bound high school students to explore the teaching profession. An important secondary goal of the program is to develop future community leaders who will become civic advocates for public education. Teacher Cadet is sponsored by the Center for Education Recruitment, Retention and Advancement (CERRA).
