First CBE Degree Offering – Bachelor of Professional Studies

Winthrop’s Bachelor of Professional Studies (BPS) is the first degree to debut as part of the Winthrop Elevate suite of CBE programs. BPS is a degree completion program uniquely designed for adult learners and busy working professionals. Four concentrations are offered: Health Informatics, Organizational Leadership, Organizational Operations, Community and Health Services.

Start as early as January 2025.

*Pending approval by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

Organizational Leadership

Equips learners with skills that will enable them to navigate complex organizational environments effectively.

Will cover topics like:

  • Strategic thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ethical leadership and corporate social responsibility

Organizational Operations

Health Informatics

Builds and strengthens students’ ability to work with health-related data.
