What makes Winthrop Special and Why I love Winthrop?
As a newcomer to Winthrop and the Rock Hill area, there are a few things I've already fallen head over heels for – and trust me, you will too! First off, I was immediately struck by how incredibly friendly everyone is here at Winthrop. Seriously, every person you meet greets you with a smile and is ready to lend a hand. The staff? They're not just nice, they're also super knowledgeable and genuinely invested in helping you thrive!
Favorite Local Restaurant?
Rock Hill is packed with great spots to eat, but one that’s become a staple for me is Hobo’s! Their steak quesadilla is absolutely mouthwatering – and yep, it’s even gluten-free! Bonus: it’s just a short walk from campus.
