Winthrop University has a history of producing strong, accomplished, successful women, who are engaged and committed to education, community, and philanthropy.
The Winthrop Women's Coalition was created to bring together individuals who want to get more engaged and involved with the university. A group of strong, accomplished philanthropic women can do great things together.
The Winthrop Women's Coalition is a giving circle that promotes philanthropy and transforms the lives of Winthrop students, while providing its members with opportunities for personal and professional growth. A collaboration between Coalition members and University leadership fosters mentoring and networking through education, professional development, and philanthropic efforts.
Memberships in the Coalition provide annual gifts that directly support short-term strategic projects that directly impact Winthrop students.
The Winthrop Women’s Coalition offers three annual membership options:
Membership in the WWC runs from July 1 through June 30. Membership renewals are sent in June of each year.
