In support of the mission of the Department of Academic Services, the Office of Business Intelligence and Data Management provides access to institutional data to support evidence-based planning, decision making, and accountability processes; to support regional and specialized program accreditation efforts; and to support offices providing academic support services.
The Office of Business Intelligence and Data Management is part of the Division of Academic Affairs and provides the following services to the Winthrop community:
BIDM provides business logic and knowledge through functional requirements, software development, testing, implementation, integration, documentation, maintenance, and ongoing support. Our team collaborates with other areas of Academic Affairs and the university responsible for data services, reporting, and academic support of the University.
BIDM provides assistance to faculty, staff, and student users with survey administration, maintenance, and reporting. This includes survey creation, distribution, and response analysis through the Qualtrics system.
BIDM provides assistance with user administration, reporting, tenure and promotion processes, and data collection for all colleges of the University through the Interfolio/Faculty 180 system.
