Amy Bagwell holds a B.A. in English Literature from The University of Georgia and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte. For 14 years, she has been a full-time instructor of college writing and literature. A poet and text-based artist, her poems are most recently in American Literary Review, Folio, storySouth, and The Westchester Review, along with the collaborative chapbook Wretched Yew (TSP). She co-founded and serves as Board Secretary for the local artists’ residency and events nonprofit Goodyear Arts, and she co-founded and directs the Freestanding Poems (previously Wall Poems) public art project.
