Mr. Christopher Solomon has over 25 years of social work experience and research interest in the areas of child welfare, mental health, sexuality, substance use, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender issues, medical, aging and disabilities. He is a very proud graduate of North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University’s Bachelor of Social Work program, and was the first American Black male to graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Winston-Salem Distance Education Advanced Standing Master of Social Work program.

Christopher’s led efforts to address Elder Abuse in Wake County as a Co-Lead from 2011-2013, served as Co-President of Triangle Association of Black Social Workers, has published with several colleagues and presented at national conferences and lastly, he was featured as one of 10 semi-finalist for the Most Deserving and Dedicated Social Workers for the Social Work Today January/February 2018 edition magazine.
