Dr. Wolff is a community ecologist and global change biologist. His research focuses on how anthropogenic global change factors influence species interactions. Dr. Wolff’s current areas of research include climate warming and sound pollution. He evaluates these anthropogenic factors from the perspective of consumer-resource interactions (including predator-prey and herbivore-plant relationships), typically involving arthropod systems.
Dr. Wolff completed his B.S. in Biology at Hope College before moving to Mississippi State University for his graduate studies. He completed an M.S. and Ph.D. in Biological Sciences. Before joining Winthrop University, he taught courses in Zoology, Ecology, and Biostatistics.
