Welcome to the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies. Our department houses six majors (BA in Environmental Studies, BS in Environmental Sciences, Master in Liberal Arts) and fourteen interdisciplinary minors. If you enjoy thinking about topics from multiple perspectives, you're likely to find something that interests you here.
Each interdisciplinary program has a faculty member who serves as coordinator. Program coordinators are often advised by a committee of faculty across campus that help design and oversee curricula that is challenging and intellectually stimulating. Additionally, our interdisciplinary programs sponsor campus wide events and activities throughout the academic year.
