At Winthrop, you can easily complete the B.A. in Philosophy and Religion and graduate right on time. The program is very flexible and requires only 30 specialized hours in addition to General Education requirements. It makes a great second major, too, and nicely pairs with majors in English, History, Psychology, Political Science, Social Work, or Sociology, Criminology, and Anthropology.
As a Philosophy and Religious Studies major, you take four required core courses and then essentially build your own program according to whether you want to concentrate on Philosophy or on Religion or on a combination of the two.
