Thank you so much for your support and investment in me. Receiving these scholarships has decreased some of the financial burden on my family and me as I earn my degree and fulfill my career goals of becoming a Certified Public Accountant. I have excelled academically, and I am genuinely interested in developing my skills and challenging my abilities to become a greater role model for my peers. After graduating from Winthrop, I plan to sit for the CPA exam to earn my certification and then work for a public accounting firm in Charlotte, N.C. I believe in, and know the importance of, earning a college degree. Education is a blessing and the opportunity of a lifetime, and I am dedicated to succeeding no matter what. Investing in me will allow me to create a career for myself and be able to share my knowledge with others to create a brighter future. I have great expectations for the future and I sincerely thank you for this scholarship.
