The Winthrop Initiative for STEM Educators is designed to encourage talented STEM professionals and students to pursue teacher certification. Through the Summer Internship and Scholar Program, the program helps individuals to consider issues in STEM education and develop as educators.
The WISE program is currently seeking a new round of funding and was last funded by the NSF 15-530, Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program under award #1540690
