Spend time on a college campus and get to know Winthrop dance majors!
This one-week intensive for rising 9th graders through graduating high school seniors features a variety of technique classes taught by Winthrop dance faculty.
Classes will be held in the Johnson Hall dance studios from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
Students will perform in an informal showing on Friday.
Friends and family are welcome to attend.
*Winthrop University does not provide on-campus housing, so you will be responsible for your own housing accommodations during this time.
To register, fill out the registration form (linked below.) There is a $250 fee for early bird registration before April 28, 2023 after that, the cost for attending is $275.
Payment may be completed online through the marketplace here or by check made payable to Winthrop University and mailed to Department of Theatre and Dance, Attn: Summer Dance Intensive, 115 Johnson Hall, 29733.
The Assumption of Risk Form, and Medical Form should be completed and signed by a parent/guardian prior to participation in the intensive. We must recieve your submitted registration form, payment, the assumption of risk form, and medical form for you to attend the program.
