Noah Bruening is Adjunct Professor of Saxophone at Winthrop University, where he teaches a mixture of classical and jazz lessons. In addition to his role at Winthrop University, he also teaches private lessons and sectionals to local band programs.
Bruening is an experienced and active classical and jazz musician. As a chamber musician, he has been a two-time winner of the state level of the MTNA Chamber Music Competition and has performed at multiple conferences, including those hosted by the North American Saxophone Alliance and the South Carolina Music Educators Association. Bruening has performed with notable musicians, such as Kristen Chenoweth and the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra.
Among his multiple academic and professional achievements, Bruening has been named a Presser Scholar and is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda honor society.
