Lauren Taylor Grad is an Interdisciplinary Artist from Anderson, South Carolina. She received her B.F.A. in painting and sculpture from Clemson University and her M.F.A. from Winthrop University. Prior to starting at Winthrop, Lauren was the Program Director for the Belton Center for the Arts, a non-profit organization in Belton, SC, where she was an instructor, gallery and exhibition coordinator, and also responsible for all marketing, including the design and distribution of publications, social media, and website development.
Lauren is a practicing artist in Lake Wylie, SC and currently serves as the Director of Communications for the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Winthrop University, where she is involved in designing event flyers, promotional materials, and advertisments. Lauren also works on website design, development, marketing, and communications for the College. She has previously been an Adjunct Professor of Fine Arts at Winthrop University where she taught 3-Dimensional design and Sculpture. Lauren has had work exhibited and published throughout the United States and internationally and has completed a variety of public art projects ranging from murals to public parks for the city of Rock Hill, SC. Lauren thrives on making art that is accessible to all and bringing art to the masses.
