Among the first connections new students and their families make are with staff in the Enrollment Management and Marketing division. We serve students and families by connecting them with the broader university community and providing access to financial and enrollment resources to support student success in support of our educational mission. 

By working with partners across the campus and community, the Enrollment Management and Marketing division at Winthrop University delivers assistance to students through their entire enrollment journey (recruitment, admission, retention, progression, and completion/graduation) and aligns the intersections of student support and engagement by:

  • Providing support, information, and resources for college affordability – including institutional, state, federal, and alternative resources – that help students and families make a Winthrop University education as affordable as possible.
  • Connecting with prospective Winthrop University students and families to provide advisement, coaching, and guidance on admission and enrollment processes toward the pursuit of a Winthrop University education.
  • Communicating with external and internal stakeholders about the activities of the university that raise the profile and reputation of Winthrop University through strategic marketing and brand awareness.
