ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA – Winthrop University Political Science Professor Scott Huffmon will moderate a debate between S.C. Sen. Wes Hayes and challenger Wes Climer on May 19.
Hayes and Climer will face each other in the GOP primary for Senate District 15 on June 14.
The May 19 debate will be held in the DiGiorgio Campus Center’s Richardson Ballroom at 7 p.m.
Huffmon is the director of Winthrop’s Social and Behavioral Research Laboratory and the Winthrop Poll.
Jointly sponsored by the York County GOP and the Clover-Lake Wylie Republican Women, the debate is open and free to the public.
