ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA – Winthrop University’s Graduate School has named 17 Elizabeth Hope Reed Fellows Program scholarship recipients for the 2023-24 academic year.
The service-specific scholarship program was established by late alumna and longtime educator Elizabeth Hope Reed ’41, ’51, who was an advocate of learning through community service. The scholarship carries a $1,000-per-semester award for one academic year.
The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships to support both academic and experiential learning.
These students were chosen for this honor due to their outstanding academic achievements, as well as their commitment to directly serve the surrounding community during their graduate program of study.
