ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA – Get ready for a night of glitz and glamour as we celebrate the arts at Winthrop University! The inaugural ArtsWinthrop Scholarship Gala will be held on Friday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. in McBryde Hall on Winthrop’s campus.
Guests are encouraged to come decked out in their Old Hollywood best to walk the red carpet. Dance the night away to performances by Winthrop’s world-class faculty and student performers and artists. A select amount of artwork by Winthrop students and faculty members will also be available for purchase. All proceeds from the event benefit scholarships for students studying theatre, dance, design, fine arts and/or music at Winthrop.
“This isn’t going to be a typical black-tie event,” said Jeff Bellantoni, dean of the College of Visual and Performing Arts. “It’s going to be a unique, exciting experience featuring the talents of our faculty and students, and something you won’t find anywhere else.”
Tickets start at $95 each and include heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages. VIP tickets are $150 each and include a souvenir photo. Group tickets and sponsorship packages are available.
