ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA -- Winthrop University's Institute of Management is now accepting applications for the 2017-2018 Nonprofit Management Certificate Program.
The 9-month program begins on Tuesday, Sept. 26, and is offered once each month through
May 2018. Designed for nonprofit executive directors, presidents and CEOS, program
managers, department managers and key leadership staff, the program strives to build
and enhance fundamental knowledge of operating a not-for-profit organization.
Coursework includes: board management and governance, legal basics and operational
accountability, accounting and finance, human resources management, program planning,
business ethics and diversity, marketing and public relations, and development and
sustainability.
Space in the program is limited. Successful participants in the program will receive
a certificate of completion from Winthrop University Institute of Management. The
course fee is significantly grant funded by the J. Marion Sims Foundation, Chester Healthcare Foundation and the Sisters of Charity of South Carolina. The fee includes tuition, materials and lunches:
