ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA – The Winthrop University campus community celebrated more
than 200 research projects on April 14 at the 2023 Showcase of Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors (SOURCE).
Hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Research, SOURCE included work from all five academic colleges on campus, with students proudly
presenting their research and creative projects in the form of performances, oral
and poster presentations, workshops and gallery exhibitions.
SOURCE concluded with an awards presentation honoring that amazing work. This year’s
winners are:

Three undergraduate researchers in the College of Arts and Sciences were also named Inez Bell Caskey Student Scholars, generously funded by Dr. Thomas Caskey in honor of his mother Inez, who graduated from Winthrop in 1930. They are:
1. Luisa Manley, humanities and arts;
2. Ebonie White, social sciences; and
3. Dallas Nivens, science and mathematics.
