ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA — Three finalists for Winthrop University's vice president for university advancement position will interview on campus the week of Nov. 14-18.
The finalists are:
*Brandy Cox Jackson, associate vice chancellor and executive director of the University of Arkansas Alumni Association
*William Roth, former executive director of major gifts and faculty engagement for Nanyang Technological University
*Kevin Hughes, associate vice president of advancement with the New College Foundation, The Honors College of Florida
Winthrop President Edward A. Serna said the university conducted a national search to find a good fit who would serve as the university’s chief fundraising officer and who will also provide a strategic vision and philanthropy plan that will enhance the advancement of the mission of the university.
“We know how extremely important fundraising and friendraising are to the immediate and long-term visions of Winthrop,” said Serna. “I will be working closely with the selected candidate to advocate for Winthrop and our students, and I am looking forward to our selected candidate hitting the ground running.”

Members of campus and local communities are encouraged to attend each candidate's meet and greet session. Feedback on each candidate is welcomed, said P.N. Saksena, dean of the College of Business Administration, who chaired the five-member search committee.
