ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA - The Carolinas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers will hold a regional college fair at Winthrop University on Oct. 16.
College representatives from 80 institutions across the Southeast will attend the event in McBryde Hall. High school students and their parents are welcome to attend.
From 9-11 a.m., high school students from area counties will be brought to McBryde Hall to learn more information about four-year and two-year institutions in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and other neighboring states. The college fair will also be open 6-8 p.m. for area high school students and their families to attend.
On Oct. 17, Winthrop will host a York and Lancaster County Financial Aid Night for high school seniors and their families at 6:30 p.m. in the DiGiorgio Campus Center’s Richardson Ballroom.
Representatives from Winthrop’s Office of Financial Aid, the S.C. Commission on Higher Education and the S.C. Tuition Grants Commission will present information on financial aid and South Carolina scholarships and grants.
The information is applicable no matter which South Carolina institution a student is planning to attend.
This is a great way for interested students to hear important information directly from the awarding organizations.
