As I mentioned was likely in my message to faculty/staff yesterday, the Winthrop University Board of Trustees voted unanimously today to implement the Winthrop University Mandatory Furlough Plan for the 2020-21 fiscal year.
This plan will take effect Sept. 1, 2020, and it is available in full, along with a set of FAQs that has been developed to assist employees in understanding more about the plan and its impact on them, at this link:
This email fulfills the mandatory furlough notice that employees must receive at least seven days before the Winthrop University Mandatory Furlough Plan for the 2020-21 fiscal year goes into effect.
