William Roth
William Roth was most recently the executive director for major gifts and faculty engagement at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where he led major and principal gift fundraising and stewardship efforts. As a de facto campaign director, Roth crafted a multi-year fundraising strategy for sustainable growth in fundraising through its Accelerating Impact Campaign, currently in its quiet phase. Roth has more than two decades of higher education leadership experience and more than 15 years leading development and alumni relations initiatives. He served as director of major gifts for Haverford College, executive director of development for Goucher College, executive director of development, intercollegiate athletics for the University of Pennsylvania, director of development for University College Oxford, executive director of principal gifts at the University of Toronto and associate dean of development and alumni relations at the Paul Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. Roth holds a master´s degree in history from the University of Virginia and a bachelor´s degree in medieval studies from Swarthmore College.
