Dear Parents and Families:
Spring. It’s a season that symbolizes rebirth, rejuvenation and re-emergence. After the last year that we all have endured, I can say that this spring feels different…full of hope and promise of brighter and sunnier days ahead. Perhaps like you, I find myself appreciating the small things like never before, such as the beautiful blooms of the dogwood trees across campus and the birds chirping during my early morning walks with our dog, Curry.
I am optimistic that with the increased availability of COVID-19 vaccines and the diminishing case counts across the region, Winthrop will return this fall to a sense of normalcy for which we all have longed.
Although the last year has looked different for Winthrop, there is still so much happening that I am happy to share with you in this edition of the Winthrop Magazine.
