I hope this email finds you and your loved ones healthy and well.
I want to thank you for your understanding and flexibility during this challenging time. I've been so impressed with the resiliency that the Winthrop community has shown. I also appreciate the support that you have shown me during my short time on the job.
We were wrapping up this edition of the spring Winthrop Magazine when COVID-19 became a worldwide health crisis. I still want to share the compelling content that you'll find inside because it reinforces all of the great work that our students, faculty, staff and alumni undertake.
This Winthrop Magazine begins with a look at several pre-COVID-19 faculty- and staff-led international trips that gave our students life-changing experiences. Other items include:
