Each residence hall is staffed with trained resource people who will provide you with the information and assistance you need as a resident student. Get to know these staff members; they are a vital part of your on-campus living experience.
Assistant Directors of Residence Life supervise Residential Learning Coordinators. They also coordinate academic success programming, student development, staff development and training, facilities, programming and discipline.
Residence halls are supervised by a full-time, professional, live-in Residential Success Coordinator who is responsible for staff development, facilities, programming, and discipline.
Resident Assistants are undergraduate students who are assigned to a floor/section in each building. Resident Assistants are resource people who provide programs, promote a community atmosphere on the hall and enforce policies. They are specially trained to help students adjust to residence hall living.
For security purposes each residence hall has a Night Host on duty from 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. When a student returns to the hall, they must present an I.D. card to the Night Host for identification.
The hall office is open from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. in all of the residence halls. Each hall office is staffed with undergraduate students. The Office Host answers the phone, gives out information, checks out equipment and keys, and reports facilities problems in your room to the proper campus departments.
