Multimedia Technology and Interactive Creation
Overview
Artists, business owners, journalists, and even teachers must constantly design experiences
for a diverse population, across a range of disciplines and domains, from business
to education, non-profits to start-ups, or social media to entertainment. This 2-course
package is a contemporary, creative-driven approach to understanding audio & two-dimensional
design, and the ways they come together to become interactive, multimedia experiences.
- Introduction to Web Design students learn how type and image come together through HTML & CSS, to create functional,
impact-driven websites.
- Students who complete Multimedia I will be able to use audio and image, animation and three-dimensional graphics, fusing
them into an engaging digital experience.
- Finally, our Foundations of Music Technology course, hosted in our Computer Music Lab, exposes students to skills critical to
audio production, sound design, composing with digital audio workstations, and interactive
sound environments.
