Why did you choose to apply to the Close Scholars program?
I applied because I love helping people, and I wanted to continue doing so throughout college by completing acts of service.
What do you look forward to as a part of the Close Scholars program?
I look forward to being part of a community that enjoys serving others as much as I do.
Why is being a servant leader important to you, and why should it be important to others?
It’s important to me because there’s a lot of negativity in this world, and I like to do what I can to make it a little bit better. This should be important to others as well because if enough people put goodness into this world, it will surely change the world for the better.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I see myself having some sort of artistic job, whether it’s part-time or full-time.
What is your favorite thing to do on campus or in the surrounding areas?
I enjoy meeting with Friday Arts Project every other Monday, when we host meetings with fun activities.
What is your favorite place to travel to and why?
I love traveling to Florida because I visit my aunt there every year, and we always enjoy each other’s company.
Fun fact?
I have a two-year-old shih-tzu named Nico.
