Why did you choose to apply to the Close Scholars program?
I chose to apply for the Close Scholars program because I've always been passionate about community service. Ever since I was a kid, I've served others and this program felt great to be a part of.
What do you look forward to as a part of the Close Scholar program?
I look forward to bonding with the community of Rock Hill and giving back as much as I can.
Why is being a servant leader important to you, and why should it be important to others?
Being a servant leader is important because it helps you grow and meet your greatest potential. It's important to prioritize others and foster the community.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years, I see myself partnering with like-minded organizations to start innovative approaches to public health awareness. After obtaining my MHA, I see myself being part of the guidance to find creative ways and strategies to improve rural healthcare.
What is your favorite thing to do on campus or in the surrounding areas?
Attending Winthrop's sports games. Especially volleyball, basketball, or tennis!
Where would you like to travel to and why?
I would like to visit the South of France one day. The scenery is so beautiful and I hear so many great reviews about it!
