Purpose of Organization: We, the members of PRISM associate ourselves to create a supportive enviornment at
Winthrop University for all members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies by using
education and awareness as integral components. Prism will provide safe, interactive
environment at every meeting and/or event affiliated with Prism. Members and guests
alike are welcome and encouraged to utilize this space in a respectful manner by listening
to everyone who shares and providing a community.
Planned Projects/Events: Upstate Pride, National Coming Out Day, Halloween Party, World AIDS Day, DRAG WU,
Second Chance Prom, as well as various fundraisers and events that we co-sponsor.
