Hunger doesn't discriminate. We're here to support our students in need, providing a judgment-free space to access food and other supplies. Any student who may be struggling to afford their food and hygiene supplies is welcome to come to the Dean of Students office (DoSo) Food Shelf-Located in the DiGiorgio Campus Center, 2nd floor, office 246. Items included (but not limited to) canned goods, small heat-and-eat items, breakfast/protein bars, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, toothbrush/toothpaste, snacks, and office supplies.
Information is kept confidential, but students must have their Winthrop ID with them when they come and no appointment is necessary. If the DoSo is open, the Food Shelf is open.
The DoSo wants to thank everyone who has helped provide our student community with a place to get food items, hygiene items, and other office supplies. 1 in 3 students struggle with food insecurity and the Winthrop community has shown they care and continue to donate supplies.
