Incoming freshmen who are interested in research and who are highly motivated to learn hands-on laboratory techniques and computer skills that are sought after in the field of science. Students must be prepared to commit to a yearlong program of research, which concludes in an accumulation of 4 hours of degree credit.

All students who apply will be considered based upon their SAT/ACT scores, personal statement and commitment to the program.
Lab Fee: $150 (fall semester only). The fee includes lab manuals for both semesters and all research materials.
