Alumni-Student Mentor Program

The Mass Communication Alumni Mentorship Program pairs Mass Communication and IMC students with department alumni within their field of interest.

The program’s goal is to help students make professional connections, facilitating a smoother transition from college to career. This program is available for all Mass Communication and IMC sophomores, juniors, and seniors. If you are a student and are interested in having an alumni mentor, please complete the application process by:

• Filling out the interest form
• Creating an account on Winthrop Connect

Once these steps are completed, you'll be assigned a mentor.

Are you a Mass Comm or IMC alum and would like to be a mentor? The minimum requirements:

• Fill out the online sign up form
• Create an account on Winthrop Connect
• Check in/talk with your mentee two times a semester or four times per year. This can be by e-mail, telephone, Zoom, in-person, etc.
