This MAT5 full-time degree program allows students to earn a Master's degree and teaching certification in one year (three semesters). Graduates of this program will meet South Carolina course requirements for certification as a teacher in French or Spanish.
Currently, the Department of World Languages & Cultures is not offering a graduate degree in any world language or in cultural studies.
If you are interested in a graduate degree not offered by Winthrop, please visit the Graduate Studies office or speak with your language professor. As deadlines and requirements can vary by program, we ask that you plan to look at graduate programs at least a full semester before you hope to enroll in a program.
