Kayla Brown '19
Kayla Brown started the AMPD program with the first class in 2017. She came in as a junior transferring 80 hours of college credit that she obtained while in highschool. At Winthrop she was a student athlete on the basketball team, a member of Beta Alpha Psi and a member of the National Association of Black Accountants. Immediatly following graduation she interned with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) during the summer and was offered a position after graduate school. Currently she is completing her MaCC degree at North Carolina State University and plans to start her full-time position in assurance with PwC in the Charlotte office. She recently passed the BEC section of her CPA and her goal is to pass all four sections and eventually obtain a Ph.D after succesfully making manager at PwC.
