Dr. Abdullah Karaman is currently an Assistant Professor of Management at Winthrop University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA. His research and teaching activities have been in the areas of supply chain management, business analytics, sustainability, simulation, and multi-criteria decision-making. His works have been published in the Journal of Business Research, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, Transport Policy, and Energy Policy, among others.
