Approximately one third of all Americans are employed in marketing-related positions. Although salaries can vary by company and position, marketing positions tend to be some of the highest paid among all college graduates. In addition, more top executives have come out of marketing and sales than any other field.
Marketing majors often follow careers in professional selling. Careers also exist in brand and product management, sales management, public relations, international marketing, business-to-business marketing, logistics and transportation, marketing research, retailing and advertising.
