Ms. Osjara Duncan won the Mrs. Harriet Gardin Fields and Mrs. Candice Bates Quinn Graduate Student Memorial Award. Ms. Duncan is in her final year of graduate school at Winthrop University obtaining her Masters in Counseling and Development. She is currently completing her internship in Lancaster County School District at Discovery School and the Barr Street Learning Center. Throughout this school year she has been an asset to the school counseling programs at her schools. The students and staff love having her.
Her administrators say, “Ms. Duncan does awesome work with our at risk youth. The students love the way she mixes being therapeutic as well as staying real.
