Low Ropes & Team Development Session

OEC Activity

Low Ropes and Team Development sessions revolve around a purpose of strengthening interaction between group members and developing inter-group relations. By progressing through a series of low elements and engaging group cooperatives, participants will be encouraged to work together to overcome shared challenges to acheive success! As a facilitated team development session, these programs can be very effective in emphasizing or targeting specific group goals and needs.

 

Common themes of Low Ropes & Team Development sessions include:

  • self-confidence

In Low Ropes and Team Development programs, groups or team members are presented with a series of challenges through which they must work and progress collectively. Time is given after each activity for personal and group reflection and discussion in structured debriefing sessions.

A minimum of ten participants is required for a Low Ropes & Team Development session.

Low Ropes Elements include: Wild Woosey, TP Shuffle, "X" Box, All Aboard, and Team Wall (the Wall is strictly for 8th grade and older)!
