To meet SACS accreditation and state requirements, instructors of graduate courses should hold a terminal degree in the discipline of instruction. If the instructor does not have a terminal degree (PhD, EdD, MFA), additional information will be needed on the instructor's qualifications and he/she will need to complete Instructor Information Form II and Instructor Information From III to provide this documentation. A resume, using the sample provided, may be attached to these forms if the requested information is included. Every instructor must have an official, sealed transcript sent directly to the Office of the Associate Dean in the Riley College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences at Winthrop University.
