Broñola-Dickert originally hails from Manila, Philippines. She became a scholar at the Philippine High School for the Arts and later at the University of Santo Tomas, Conservatory of Music, in Manila, where she earned her B.M. in piano performance. She received her M.M. degree (also in piano performance) under the tutelage of Eugene Barban at Winthrop. Her former teachers include Asuncion Laureola (University of the Philippines), Perla Suaco (University of Santo Tomas), and Sequiera Costa (University of Kansas).
She has won several piano competitions, notably the Philippines' National Music Competitions for Young Artists. She was a recipient of several awards, including the Young Achiever's Award for Arts and Culture, Manila. Broñola-Dickert has been featured in numerous concerts as soloist, chamber musician, and accompanist in the Philippines and the U.S. Currently, she serves as a staff accompanist and piano faculty member for Winthrop's Department of Music and piano instructor in the Winthrop Academy of Music. Since 2003, she has been the church accompanist at Covenant Baptist Church in Lancaster, S.C.
Her professional affiliations include the Pi Kappa Lambda, Rock Hill Piano Teachers Forum (secretary, 2009-2011), South Carolina Piano Festival Association (treasurer, 2010), and the Music Teachers National Association (SCMTA senior coordinator).
Broñola-Dickert is married to L.H. Dickert Jr., who also works in Winthrop's Department of Music.
