The Department of Institutional Effectiveness (IE) supports the University’s mission by providing leadership in the areas of institutional research, accreditation, assessment and academic program review. The Department disseminates assessment results and institutional data to support institutional planning and decision-making, as well as advancing quality in teaching and learning, academic and student support, and services and operations.
The Department of Institutional Effectiveness’s functionalities include:
Provide assistance to academic, administrative, and student support units in their continuous improvement efforts to support student learning, student support, and university services and operations.
Develop and maintain processes and support materials to assist with ongoing compliance with institutional accreditation standards (SACSCOC) and assist colleges with specialized accreditation.
Manage the academic program review process by supporting programs under review and facilitating the identification of actions and decisions resulting from program reviews.
Serve as the clearinghouse for institutional reporting to external and internal stakeholders and disseminate data to the university community.
